Summary: I won't be getting the final book in the trilogy
Comment: I read the first 2 books in the Sign of Seven Trilogy, and I only bought the second book because I was hoping that it would be better than the first one, and thus get me hooked on the story but I was in for even more disappointment. I struggled to finish the first book and the second one was even more tedious.
I'm all for books on the struggle between good and evil, and don't mind a little bit of 'spook factor' but these 2 books were just downright creepy and not in a good way. I couldn't even get to care for the characters.
Unlike some reviewers I actually liked the Circle trilogy which was also a 'good vs. evil' trilogy, mainly because you could see the 'real' Nora Roberts in the writing-the witty conversation, the humor and the emotions, were all there. These are key elements that keep me returning to NR time and time again.
For the first time ever, I will be skipping the final book in a NR trilogy and I even skipped her last hardcover because the story line sounded like a do-over of so many of her older books. This saddens me because Nora has always been an auto-buy for me. Not anymore. Oh well, she's given us tons of great books over the years-I guess I'll just have to keep re-reading those until she returns to her great form.

Summary: Really Liked It
Comment: Like a lot of the others who have commented, I have found Nora Roberts hit and miss. This book was a hit for me. It had a little of that ends up a little too perfect romance aspect, but the dialog had me laughing out loud (in a good way). I also think the story line moves at a good pace. Definitely worth the $$ for the paper back or the kindle version. I even got my husband hooked on it.

Summary: Horror, Mystery, Romance, Humor!!!
Comment: This book as it all, there are those moments when you heart stops because you think one of the main characters is in danger or where you are trying to figure out the mystery behind the Pagan Stone yourself or for them really. Then the romance in this book is so touching and care free that you are cheering for them from the beginning not to mention the humor between them as they work their way into a relationship and add their friends and put them together...it's a great read!!

Summary: Blood Brothers
Comment: I can't give a complete, fair review yet because I was behind in my reading and have only read the first 70 pages of the book. The characters were introduced quickly and you can tell what the plot is going to be. Should be very good as her books always are.

Summary: Where's the romance?
Comment: I read the 2nd book in this series before the 1st one and wasn't too thrilled about it. This book is just as light on the romance as the 2nd one. The story of the curse or whatever it is, is the main focus and the romances are given the back seat. I want my romance books to have romance as the main focus, call me crazy. Even when the book does get around to the couple it's supposed to be about, there's really no substance to it. There's really no conflict between the couple and so they just have sex every now and then and the book gets back to it's main story. However, Gage does intrigue me (his story will be the 3rd book)...I don't think I will read it unless it's given to me because I know it will be a repeat performance of the previous 2 books. I still like Nora Roberts, just not this series.

Editorial Reviews:

In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it's called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys-Caleb, Fox, and Gage-went on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone. And twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men-and the women who love them.
