Customer Rating: Summary: Most computer technique CotC Comment: I think that this was weird that this was a Paramount movie and the tag line said Dimension Diversion On Miramax Films. This was 1993 movie, DVD Release 1993 94 minutes long ( very rare ). Region 2 didn't have near good effects. Micahs Transformation wasn't on R.2, when Micah gets hit by eletric bolt he screams and on R.2 he doesn't, then his voice gets real deep at the end not on R.2, then when the face appears on Micah his face changes shape before the devil appears. The Top Ten New Mdeia DVD doesn't have those effects. Different music was in different regions, the VHS had those effects to, and feel free to comment and ask me questions about this CotC movie. I know every single thing on this movie. This is another CotC review, i write reviews on all of the CotC movies but in a mixed-up order. I like CotC 2 but not as much as for. I know deleted scenes in all children of the corn movies. Just comment and ask on any of the seven. I especially know CotC 5 Fields of Terror.
Grade ( on movie ): A-
Customer Rating: Summary: Sucks Comment: This movie sucks so bad. The deaths were terrible (as in boring). The moving mound in CCOTC1 returns but you still dont see what the monster looks like!!!!! Most of the kids die at the end due to weopon backfiring, the music is five star, i would recomend the soundtrack. Save your money, dont by this movie.
Customer Rating: Summary: A REALLY "CORNY" MOVIE Comment: They say that this sequel surpassed it's original. From watching this movie that aint achieving much! All the kids talk about is the "corn". They only good things about the movie are Lacy and Angela. they are damn HOT! One of them even has a sex scene.
Customer Rating: Summary: Genius! Comment: God, I love this kind of stuff. Basically, Children of the Corn II is cheap, gory, and loads of fun. It's also well-made, too... the effects are pretty good (not anything amazing but they more then get the job done). This film contains buckets of blood, gotta love that nose-bleed scene! 'Final Sacrifice' also contains a great score by Daniel Licht and has a fairly morbid sense of humor (What a World!). Overall, the complete package for a great time at the movies... dripped in blood, of course.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not one of the best horror films, but it still needs praise! Comment: Who can ever forget the gloomy classic "Children of the corn" with its dark, beautiful, and gloomy melody and of course...it WILL make you laugh...because it promises more guffaws then terror. Micah, the new leader which is a shame for the Isaac fans, is showing his world from his eyes...but with a demonic demon possessing him and trying to regain followers which loses the almost flawless purpose of the film. It takes a turn here, as all Stephen King films usualy do and it is actually a "Disease" that Micah and the children are being possessed by, and He who Walks Behind The Rows does play a small role...note, small role. Same point to the original as the novel where Stephen King gave out his rough draft to the masses. A few reviewers here say-well a few who watched it and me-that COTC 2 was one of the few films in the history of COTC lore that was intelligent(ish), innovative, dark, and moody, with addictive dialogue, dark melodies, and so-so screenwriting, and from us, got the commercial success that it got. I consider this COTC classic as the best example of brilliant and Macabre movie getting the justice and recognition that it somehow deserves! I give it a two big thumbs up!
