Customer Rating: Summary: Marc Anthony At His Peak! Comment: Excelent Concert, All the hits that made Mark Anthony the Star that he is now Days. Excelent Video Quality.
Customer Rating: Summary: Marc Anthony's Best Concert Comment: This is the concert that Marc Anthony influenced me the most. It is probably his best performance showing his true feelings as a singer. The sad part is that this DVD concert is not widescreen or yet available in Blu-Ray.
Customer Rating: Summary: I love you Marc! You're the best Comment: OMG this man is the best. Hands down the best salsa artist ever...
This concert will get you moving. He has an amazing voice, and charisma like nobodys business. Even Rosie Mcdonald and Julia Roberts made it!
I guess they know good stuff when they see it. Terrific DVD, I can't wait till I see another concert!
Customer Rating: Summary: Marc Anthony DVD Disappointment Comment: Music CDs and videos are usually designed to grab your interest and attention with the first song, and then maintain that interest and attention throughout the rest of the album. This CD begins with songs sung in Spanish with a lot of echo, and then moves into English-sung songs performed without feeling. Marc seems to be in a hurry to get them over with. This is a poorly produced album and, as big a Marc Anthony fan as I am, I cannot recommend it to anyone who knows how talented he is.

Editorial Reviews:

Marc Anthony brings his elegant passions to the Big Apple in this exciting 2001 concert performance. The dazzled audience erupts at the singer's knockout, Spanish-language openers, "Y Hubo Alguien" and "Contra la Corriente," swoons to his exultant "You Sang to Me," and hangs on every marvelous syllable in the exquisitely phrased "When I Dream at Night." Anthony's material occasionally slides into bathos ("That's Okay"), but at his best he can go from big band salsa ("Nadie Como Ella") to Burt Bacharach-flavored pop-soul ("My Baby You") to gorgeous, breathless ballads ("Da la Vuelta") without breaking a sweat. But when he needs all engines firing at once, such as on his hot-hot-hot big hit, "I Need to Know," the tension and power are delicious. Watching Anthony work a stadium crowd--gliding, dancing, playing to every corner--reminds one of Mick Jagger's playbook. --Tom Keogh
