Very easy to install and very easy to replace. I bought it b/c others mentioned the "default" is "no filter" so it makes it really easy when washing dishes. I live in an apartment and this was the perfect, temporary, inexpensive fix. I will say Amazon is one of the only places I can find the filter replacements, so stock up if you can.
