They are a big improvement from the knives I used in the past. I read the reviews before I purchased them. Some people complained after putting them in the dishwasher. I do not put the knives in the dishwasher. I wash and dry them immediately after use. Customer Rating: Summary: What more could you ask for? Comment: What do you ask from a steak knife? It must cut. It must be easy to wash. This set of knives does both and at about thirty bucks! For the money you can't go wrong with these. Granted, they are not for your formal place setting, but for every day use they are more than adequate. They are not only sharp but are also dishwasher safe. You can't go wrong with these.
