Customer Rating: Summary: Really horrible Comment: This is really horrible coffee. It is especially bad in an espresso machine. The taste is completely different than the Lavazza beans that come in a blue bag. There is a reason this brown bag is cheaper.
Customer Rating: Summary: overpriced Comment: Maxwell House ground coffee from the supermarket is beter coffee. Searched underorganic coffee and got Lavazza. Amazon should give me about $13.00 back as a credit!..... Dave
Customer Rating: Summary: great value Comment: I tried Crema e Aroma and compared it with the more expensive Lavazza Super Crema. I liked the Crema e Aroma better, because of its more pronounced and pleasant flavor. The Super Crema tasted generic to me. In addition to one's own subjective taste preferences, the final outcome depends on one's espresso machine, grinder, and coffee amount per shot. My machine is a DeLonghi Magnifica with a built-in grinder, set to max. coffee and almost minimum water per shot. I am sure that there a better coffees out there but Crema e Aroma is a compelling value.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very good espresso ( italian taste) Comment: I have already used this Lavazza beans but the first time it was not 100% perfect while the last time it was and I was able, drinking my espresso made with a Jura machine, to feel to be back in a bar in Milano !!! molto buono !!
Customer Rating: Summary: Best combined with a darker bean for espresso drinks... Comment: My opinion people...
As someone who has tried many, many coffees trying to get the perfect blend, I have found that the Lavazza Crema e Aroma is the best base from which to start on a custom blend. It is a delicious straight espresso, but I feel it is a little raw, thin, and light for espresso based drinks like lattes and cappucinos. For that, the best combo is two parts Crema e Aroma and one part Java Joe's Espresso Adoration. For the most delicious tase and best crema, this is the route to go. If you like a more heavy, almost chocolatey flavor, try it 50/50. For those wanting to cut back on the caffiene, try the Crema a Aroma mixed 2 to 1 with the Starbucks decaf espresso roast. It adds just the right touch of over-roasted bean to give more depth to your espresso-based drinks. For my ultimate mix, I actually combine the Crema e Aroma, Java Joe's, and two other coffees. No, I cant tell you all the secrets, my friends may read this! You'll just have to come by for a cup.
