Customer Rating: Summary: Great Rechargeables Comment: A couple of years back, I purchased the Sony BCG-34HE charger so that I had a road warrior rechargeable battery system that could go anywhere in the world with any electrical system. It came with two AA and two AAA 2500mAH batteries. A couple of weeks ago, I got a new laptop mouse that requires two AA batteries, so I wanted some additional batteries so that I always have fresh charged ones. These batteries are the best because they power things a lot longer than other rechargeables. The AAAs I use in my travel alarm clock and these batteries power that for about 9 months. A single AA powered my old laptop mouse for about a month of hard use. I'm getting about a month of hard use out of my new mouse. Customer Rating: Summary: Batteries are batteries Comment: I purchased these for our rechargeable phones around the house. They work well and so far seem to hold a charge pretty good. Customer Rating: Summary: Good buy for rechargeable batteries Comment: These batteries are a really good deal. They last way longer than other batteries we've tried in our cameras. Customer Rating: Summary: Sold as 2500 mah but only 1950 to 2150mah Comment: I bought these about a year ago and have used them about 10-15 times. I just bought the MAHA 9000 charger which allows for a complete break-in cycle which actually measures the capacity of each cell.
I've cyled all of them a few times and found that the MAHA rates them between 1950 and 2150. I've got 12 of them and none rated higher than the 2150.
They work well and seem to supply power well, but if they are sold as 2500mah they should provide that much. If you don't mind the lower capacity they seem fine, but you'll have to recharge them more often. Customer Rating: Summary: Dead in under a year.... The batteries died today.
Not even the La Crosse BC-900 I used to charge these things with can bring them back to life.
As others have stated, the new hybrid batteries are the better choice anyway, though think twice about buying these in particular.
I'm GOOD about not using crummy chargers and using these batteries in a reasonable manner (digicam, xbox controller, GPS...etc.)
These weren't fried in a 15 minute charger or shorted out in faulty equipment. Buyer beware.
I'm giving them 3 stars because they did work for a while.
I should have been able to get another year or so out of them though.
