This remington works great even on my adult legs that hadn't been shaved in over 2 weeks. I had lots of long hair. Works very quickly, no nicks, no stinging either. Of course nothing is closer than a straight edge blade that my grandfather had but this instrument is great. The cleaning system works very nicely too. I actually turn it on in the morning to wake her up. Its loud. If you don't want to disturb a sleeping person in the room, don't use the cleaner cycle. Very happy with this product.
