Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Great scissors Comment: I requested and received these scissors as a gift a couple of years ago. I have been very pleased with them. They are still incredibly sharp. When I use them on messy things (raw poultry), I just take them apart and wash them. They also come in handy opening shipping boxes. I use the bottle opener at the handle-end of the scissors, and it easily slices through packaging tape to open a box. Very pleased with these scissors and would recommend them to anyone. What I don't like: Mine is less than a year old and has rust spots on the blades. Now this may be my fault for putting it in the dishwasher... but I don't think it should rust, should it? Over all I like them because it wasn't like they were that expensive, and for what I use mine for a little rust is no big deal.
