Customer Rating: Summary: Great 21st Century Surfing Comment: Stumbled on this by happenstance and it's been wonderful .
Blue Horizon has excellent water footage and is a profile of both a competitive and a free surfer ,
In the newer 21st century style .
I am now a major fan a Rasta's dad .
Only adverse side effect is you may want to become a serious surfer and it is probably Not advisable for us geezers ,
{ but ya' want to anyway ! } .
The Rasta mantra { Think it , Feel it , Do it } can be applied to any activity tho , not just surfing .
Loved this totally .

Customer Rating: Summary: You Little Ripper Comment: great vid. amazing footage and great insight to life on the ASP outside of the usual wave riding scenes seen on most dvd's.
Customer Rating: Summary: "Yin & Yang" pretty much sums it up Comment: A surf story that follows Andy Irons and Dave Rastovich through a surf season - contest surfing vs. free surfing. Great scenery, surf, music and narrative. Although this doesn't make it into my top favorites, it's definitely worth watching a couple of times.
The film runs 96 minutes.

Blue Horizon is a surf movie with a new angle. For the last two years Jack McCoy follows the lives of current world surfing champion Andy Irons and 'soul surfer' Dave 'Rasta' Rastovich. The movie looks at cultural differences between the worlds of competition surfing and free surfing. The film has a backdrop of the history of surfing, as well as, visiting some amazing surf locations around the globe.
