Summary: Wonderful Light-Yet-Sophisticated Scent
Comment: I've used this fragrance since it was first promoted in the very early 1990s. I've never met a single person who didn't think favorably about this scent. I personally like this best in warmer months, and the traditional Polo in colder seasons (my wife, however, doesn't prefer the original Polo scent, so I haven't warn that for years).
This particular spray package is very attractive and performs fabulously. Recommended!

Comment: I bought two bottles as gifts for my two sons. This one was ok, but the other one was a tester and I wasn't very happy when I found out. I knew I was paying less because there was no original box, but I didn't know it was going to be a tester.

Comment: i don't know much about colognes, but i do know that i've gotten several compliments from several people and that this has a nice scent.

Summary: The truth about Polo Sport for men, like it or not...
Comment: Nice fragrance I suppose, the major problem with it is that it seems to stick on whatever you spray it on for months (clothing wise and furniture wise). Extremely pungent but not sharp at all, again it seems to have a rather persistent smell, a characteristic I'm not too fond of.
Within the last couple of years Ralph Lauren has changed their marketing strategy and it seems as though they are going for younger audiences, for the laid back type, for high school and young college students as opposed to adults... this fragrance is no different, in fact given the price it seems to be following that line of thought to a "T."
I'm actually quite surprised this product hasn't come down in price recently the construction quality will undoubtedly make you think that it isn't a high end fragrance. There is no wearing this for formal affairs, instead it is made for everyday use... some like it, I for one got sick of it and fast (probably something to do with that "persistent" or "pungent" characteristic, this coupled with the fact that Polo Sport is mellow and not sharp).
Comparing them I'd say that Dunhill's Desire is a far superior product: both are extremely mellow and yet I feel Dunhill is fruitier and more complex for the price, while Polo Sport is more chemical (man made)-meets-Lavender in a shocking sort of way. I suppose again, for the price this can easily be overlooked but for me I'm not entirely sure I like it as much as I did in my youth.
If you enjoy "mellow" everyday wear and don't mind the rather "persistent" characteristic of this fragrance, than by all means give it a try - it sure is popular as of late, and more than a few people on a daily outing will know what you're wearing (adults might think, `something cheap' while younger individuals might find it appealing). For all the reasons I previously mentioned though, I'm going to have to give this a 2.

Introduced by Ralph Lauren in 1994 POLO SPORT is a refreshing spicy lavender amber fragrance. This Perfume has a blend of fresh warm sporty florals. It is recommended for daytime wear.
