Rather than return to Amazon as defective, however, I called the company. They sent a replacement cap immediately. I am very pleased with both bottles. I really like the sports cap and it's not easily popped open, which prevents accidental spills if tipped over. It holds a good amount of water and it's an easier way to keep track of daily water intake, instead of trying to count what glass of water you're on. I purchased it through Amazon and they require you to send it back for an exchange. Well, that would cost me the price of a new one so I didn't.
