Summary: I've looked at a lot of bead mags, and this is my favorite.
Comment: I'm still a fairly new beader so a mag intended for beginner to intermediate doesn't bother me. The problem I have with many of the other bead and/or jewelry mags is that they are mostly big expensive glossy advertisements containing little useful information regarding projects, information or anything related to what I want in a magazine about beads. This one is different and does not disappoint. It may not be as big and glossy as the others, but it has a variety of projects on practically every other page (jewelry, accessories, home projects and more), has very few ads (the ones they do have are unobtrusive), is fun to read and the instructions are clear, easy to follow and so far, accurate. It has a couple articles each month, and each issue is aimed towards that season or style at the moment so there's always something new and interesting to look forward to. The pictures are great, and they include some basic bead and jewelry reference points which are helpful if you don't feel like lugging your books around all the time. One of my favorite authors in the genre, Katie Hacker, contributes to this mag which makes it that much better for me :) I plan on keeping this one.

Summary: Simple yet inspiring
Comment: If you are a beginner, this is a good magazine for you. Most projects are simple stringing. In spite of its simplicity, the magazine is inspiring. Color selections are always interesting and season appropriate. This magazine would probably tie for 3rd on my list after Bead & Button and Beadwork. (Ties with Step By Step Beads). If you like jewelry magazines and can afford them all, this won't disappoint.
