Summary: Great Product... No poo
Comment: If you have curly hair this is the Poo for you! I have been using this product for over a year and I love it. It cleans without drying your hair and the fragrance is fresh and something I look forward to every morning that I use it. I even got my husband to start using it for his dry scalp and it has really helped his dandruff problem. I have been looking for years for a product line for my curly hair that helped with the frizzys and Deva Curl gets my vote. Last year I sent the sampler to all three daughters and they also loved it.

Summary: If you have wavy but fine, frizz-prone hair -- Forget it. Use Low-Poo instead
Comment: Basically, No-Poo is a light conditioner with astringent properties to clean scalp and hair without surfactants. does not foam/bubble. if you have fine, wavy hair, this is not the product for you.
Although I'm a fan of Devacurl Low-Poo (low surfactant shampoo), the No-poo has no surfactants whatsoever. This causes limp, greasy hair at the crown/bangs (where you need volume), and actually caused acne all along my hairline due to the residual. I was going crazy for weeks trying to figure out where it was coming from-- after careful evaluation it turned out to be the no-poo. Again, this would happen if you use any conditioner as a shampoo.
If you have heavy, curly, thick hair that needs taming and gets dried out if you wash it every day, this is a fantastic product--it doesn't overstrip and has a great detangling power that doesn't need much conditioner afterward.
But if you have fine, wavy hair and are acne-prone, forget it.

Summary: Over powering fragrance
Comment: I thought I had found a good product for curly silver hair but the fragrance over powers all else. I would be much more satisficed with the product IF the fragrance was not SOOO strong. Everyone in the house complains about the fragrance this and the condition leaves behind. It is the ONLY reason I will not buy it again.

Comment: Once you get used to the fact that bubbles don't mean clean, you will LOVE this No-Poo "shampoo". It's a cleanser for your scalp and hair, non sudsing...it has the greatest ingredients, and the peppermint leaves your scalp feeling tingly and fresh..I LOVE this product!! Be sure to follow it up with the conditioner. My hair has never looked better and I have only been using it for about 2 weeks. If your curly hair needs help, this will help!
