Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Not intuitively easy to use Comment: This phone works fine but it is not intuitive to add or change area codes when you try to retrieve the number from callerid and call the number. The numbers come in without the area code. I know what the area code is but when I want to call the number and edit the number, it is very frustrating. The arrows on the phone which should allow you to space forward enter characters instead. This phone is frustrating to use. Customer Rating: Summary: Warning, will not charge in 8885 base unit, but can be linked to it. Comment: Because of the shape of this phone it will not charge in my 8885 answering machine unit. You can get it to "talk" to the other units by taking off the battery cover and putting it in the base. But you need to charge it in its own cradle. That can be a pain sometimes. I do like the navigation system on it better than my original handset from the 8885. Customer Rating: Summary: Great phone Comment: I first bought the Uniden TRU9465-2 phone because of a review in Consumer Reports. The TRU9465-2 allows you to add a total of 10 TCX905 phones to it. It's the best phone I've ever owned. If you own a multi-story home, this is the phone to have. The intercom feature allows you to page other handsets use within the house. Only thing I wish it would do is when you add a number to one handset you could transfer it to all phones at once. Other than that it has been a very good perforing for me. I liked it so much I bought extras for my phone and for my daughter's phone as well. Buttons on the handset are well laid out, the screen is easy to read, the unit is light weight and fits the hand nicely, and it easily fits into a shirt pocket if you want to take it outside while doing yard-work. The speech-quality is excellent. It is a pleasure to use. All this at a reasonable price. More Reviews
