Comment: I bought this umbrella stand for a Christmas tree that I have been struggling with for years. The tree tapers to a point and I needed an adjustable stand that would allow me to slip the tree right into it. This heavy stand worked out well--it would have worked out better if the stand had an adjustable ring for umbrellas or trees that don't quite fill the hole--my tree was a little too large for the ring provided. So--we improvised and stuffed the bubble wrap down the base to make the tree stand straight. So far no cats have jumped on the tree which is the opposite of what happened last year--kept falling over and I kept screaming...:) More Reviews
