It's simple and looks nice on the counter although the stainless steel is light (feels like aluminum) and will probably dent easily if dropped. The cover opens smoothly and the inside space appears to be well-ventilated. There seems to be enough space for one complete loaf of bread and a bag of bagels or muffins. The only real downside is the weight of this box. If only it felt a little more durable...
