Customer Rating: Summary: Good board for beginners. Cabinet is cheap though... Comment: Bought this dartboard/cabinet combo for $35 right here on amazon.com. I believe they had it mispriced, and I got my order in before they could correct it.
It is a decent sisal bristle Halex dartboard. It is NOT staple-free. Who cares? Are you planning on hosting a darts tounament in your house soon?
The cabinet quality is alright. A quick inspection reveals thick doors, sturdy hinges, and a decent paintjob/silkscreening of the Blackhawks logo on the front. A Chicago fan would be proud to have this in a gameroom. However, the back plate of the cabinet is thin plywood, which was attached to the frame (Of the cabinet) with hot glue and small brads. One of the "dart holders" on the inside of the door is cracked. The screws to mount it to the wall were substandard (In my opinion), so I used drywall screws to hang the cabinet.
The inside of the cabinet is only painted wood. I plan on putting some sort of felt on the inside of the cabinet to hide the mounting screws and give it a more refined look.
You are required to hammer in three rubber bumpers to the back of the dartboard. The bumpers are supposed to make it sit tightly against the back of the cabinet. Problem is, the rubber bumpers were too short, and the board rattled around, no matter how much I adjusted the hanging screw (Which the dartboard hangs from). I fixed this by removing the rubber bumpers and using three thick felt stick-on pads. Problem solved.
Like I said, this is a decent board. The darts are fine for learners and house darts. Keep an eye on the price. Maybe Amazon will put it on sale for 35 bucks again. Brass tacks: If I would've missed the "sale", I would have been happy to pay $80 for this package.
