My son and I can talk across the house now with ease. CONS: 1) We did not get the distance others raved about. As soon as we walked out the door, it shut off. 2) The charge light is VERY bright - too bright actually! It is nice so you can find the phone in the dark, but it was so bright it kept me up at night, so I had to stick the phone under my bed (instead of bed stand) and still a light glows from under my bed. Overall I like the phone - much better than any we have had in the past.
