However, I didn't give it the 5th star because they need to be replaced every couple weeks due to the adhesive life. They bond very well for a week or two, but soon after that, one of them will slide off. Customer Rating: Summary: Small nose user Comment: The silicone pads is exactly what I was looking for plastic rim glasses that did not have actual nose pad arms. So I needed these pads to stick to the actual frame of the glasses. The silicone pads did work well and prevented the glasses from sliding down my nose, but over the month time frame the adhesive failed a silicone pads did fall off. So, these do work great, but only last about a month. A better adhesive (if you can find any that sticks to silicone) would be a good design change. As an engineer, I doubt that as silicone is very hard to adhere to. Customer Rating: Summary: Silicone Nose Pad Comment: In September 07 when I first used these nose pads, I was slightly disappointed and this is what i wrote: These nose pads have minimal padding (cushion effect). It is mainly for the purpose of a non-slip effect on eye-glasses. With repeated use, i found them very flexible - they can be cut to shape and doubly stuck on the frames to increase thickness.
