Summary: Required for percussion instruction
Comment: My son has hauled this to school and back once a week for 5 months now (and it's survived!). Everything is nice and sturdy, except the music holder that's included - that's pretty much useless. The only way this set would have been better is if the mallets it comes with had rubber tips. The hard plastic ones are VERY loud, especially when played by a frustrated beginner.
