We took our niece and nephew, ages 2 and 3, and they loved it! One day we used it to get them back up the sled hill, two days we used it to explore the area. It's easy to pull so the grown-ups don't get too tired. We used it on both fresh powder and somewhat icy granular snow, and it was fine on both.
