Comment: I've been using YNAB Pro for about 6 months. I really love knowing where my money goes. I found it very easy to pick up - budgeting quickly became an automatic habit. YNAB has a really nice balance of features and simplicity. It only does budgets, but it does it so perfectly and cleanly I wouldn't ever want to switch over to Quicken or MS Money. I definitely recommended if you're looking for an easy, intuitive way to run your budget.

Comment: I started using YNAB 6 months ago. I can't recommend this software enough. The methodology that is enforced by this software is extremely powerful. My wife and I are on the same page with our financial goals and we can truly appreciate the money we work so hard to earn.
The support for this software, including the blog, forums and built in help is tremendous. The developers are constantly working on making the software better and love to incorporate feedback from users. In the time I have owned the software it has been updated at least 3 times with great new features and benefits.
If you want a way to start living within your means, putting your money to work and actually feeling like you are controlling your finances instead of the other way around, then you should buy this product. I've tried to use Quicken and Msft Money in the past but both of those are only ways to organize your financial data. YNAB does that as well as giving you a step by step plan for mastering your finances.

Summary: Don't have to Know the Future to use YNAB
Comment: I used to try to figure out how much money I was going to make in the coming month and try to create a budget based on that mystical clairvoyance of guessing how much was going to be in my account and when. Not anymore. YNAB is just what I need to help me manage the money I actually have and to smooth out the bumps along the way.
YNAB is the single most useful piece of financial software I have ever bought. But it's not just the software, it's the 4 rules that form the core of the YNAB methodology and the software's relentless insistence that you follow them that have made this software as useful as it is.
I used to be simultaneously an out-of-control spender and afraid to spend money. Now I know how much I have to spend and I don't feel guilty when I spend it because my wife and I have predetermined that it would be spent.
No more fighting over money. YNAB helps me spend less time thinking about my money and more time thinking about how I can best use my money to reach my goals. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Summary: Life Changing!!
Comment: Extremely user friendly. Is an essential tool to get your financial life in order! We have been using for 9 months and have made significant progress in paying down debt and planning for the future. This program helped in spite of loss of income and significant (new engine!!) car repairs. Would highly recommend this program to anyone. Even those who do not have debt. The program is very useful in seeing the "whole picture". Makes you much more aware and thoughtful about your spending. The support is amazing. Great community on the website and the free upgrades are very useful. Just can't say enough good. We are so thankful to Jesse who created the program and wish we found it years and years ago!!

Summary: The Little Budgeting Software that Could!
Comment: I've been using YNAB for the past couple of years...way back when it was an excel program. Do I need to tell you that I love it?? I loved it then and I REALLY love it now. Jessie and Taylor have done a fantastic job of adding even more functionality yet keeping the simplicity of the program intact.
I was a die-hard Quicken user before I discovered YNAB. It did take me a while to get used to thinking ahead rather than after-the-fact, but now that thinking ahead financially is a way of life for me, the difference is incredible. I always have the money to pay my insurance IN FULL when the bill is due. (No more $4 service fees per payment!) I have a three month emergency fund in place. I know that there are people who can do this easily because it comes naturally for them. For the rest of us, YNAB provides the proof of progress in black and white and that is just what I need to keep myself on track. And, for those of you who do all that foreward-thinking naturally, you'll love seeing it in black and white, too.
I heartily recommend YNAB. It is one program that really can help change your life.
