It's not real loud, but in a quiet room - like a bedroom at night - it might drive you crazy. The second is you have to swing the USB port cover to the side when you put the phone in the charger. It can get awkward and a little annoying. That said, the battery it comes with is great, the cradle charges and is a safe and handy place to keep the phone. Just put it in your kitchen! Bargain Cell shipped the item the next day and the product arrived quickly and in great condition. The docking station with spare battery is the solution for one stop charging and syncing. The extra battery is a plus and already saved me on an overnight trip. The only disappointment is the phone does not fit in the docking station with a faceplate, but that is a minor inconvenience.
