Comment: I was impressed with such packaging that housed the cds that are all
personalized in their own personal case. I was just not ready to see such care in organizing these cds.
The case alone is a treasure but then when you open it and find how the seven folders are colorfully displayed and all numbered carefully.
The layout information booklets are truly worth mentioning and add an exceptional value to any collection.
There is just too much included to list here. It was a great surprise since I was only expecting the CDs.
I find I have to limit my time watching the cds as they are very hard to pull away from.
These series are very busy and tend to keep you totally involved. The settings of the town where it all happens captures you in the way the town carries on traditions and tends to maintain a family lifestyle by joining in on all the holiday get togethers. Lends itself to a friendly safe utopia that steals your heart and mind into the middle of it.
Make sure you have the time to watch this before you get started as it is very difficult to stop watching. I just love these cds and just as much fun watching them over and over. I cannot immagine anyone not falling in love with the Gilmore Girls.

Comment: I was not going to write a review since so much has been said about this series, but felt something this good deserved even another review of praise.
My daughter and I started watching this series on DVD in August of 2007. We rented them and were only able to get one disc at time which left us in a constant state of aggitation while waiting for the next one to arrive in the mail. We quickly decided that wasn't workig out well so we borrowed the first 4 seasons from her best friend. Pretty quickly we realized that was going to be a problem so when the complete series was coming out, I pre-ordered it. What a wonderful value !!!
I can't say enough good things about the show. My daughter (now age 14), my husband (age 51) and I (somewhere older than 35) all think it's one of the best things ever. We have watched them as a family and it's definitely not chick-lit for television. The writing is so fast-paced and witty with hilarious characters -- this series is for anyone who wants to think versus being given crude humor for a laugh. We have watched the entire series twice and my daughter has started through it again for the third time. Even with that much viewing, we still enjoy it and it's not stale.
Wonderful, wonderful series.
Warning to those with young daughters wanting to see it: This series does have some mature material in it. Nothing usually very explicit, but the whole story is around the main character who had a baby at 16. My daughter and I have been able to have some excellent discussions about choices and consequences after viewing this and age 13 and above are fine in my opinion. Much younger than than, and I think I would not have allowed her to watch until she was older.

Summary: My Wife loves it!
Comment: When I got this for my wife, she said this was her best gift. She has been on a Gilmore Girls kick for a few months, and she was recording them on TV and waiting for them to come on every day... Now she can watch them whenever she wants... We have limited it to only two shows a night. :)
But she likes that there are no commercials.

Comment: This is an excellent show, and a well done series. I just received my set today and am very happy with it. The design of the case is ok, but I haven't had any problems with it falling apart or breaking in anyway. For 40% off, I'd recommend purchasing it now.
