Lightning Ascent snowshoes are extremely lightweight, allowing you to walk more easily and naturally than you would in most traditional snowshoes. The frame is constructed from one vertical blade of aerospace-quality aluminum supported by two cross members of high-strength steel. The urethane decking is fastened at 18 attachment points for an extra measure of durability, even in the unlikely event of a tear-out. The bindings of the Lightning Ascent snowshoes utilize a step-on molded urethane design with three speed-hook buckles that open to securely fit a variety of boots.
