I had been looking for a mat that was not only strong enough to handle the vibrations but also one that wouldn't deteriorate with the occasional rain. I purchased both the 2x3 and 4x6 mats and they have worked out nicely. The mat absorbs the vibrations and the small raised surface on the bottom side allows rain water to go under the mat.
