It doesn't seem that long ago that I didn't even know what a terabyte was, let alone thinking I would ever need that much storage space. Raw file digital pics take up a lot of room. I'm glad Seagate makes this "big hard drive" in such a handy small package. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Product Comment: Works well but hangs during Windows XP Service PAK2 boot. I have to unplug it then after boot up, plug it in. Great price for this much storage Customer Rating: Summary: Works 4 me, needs better software Comment: Just turn this on when I'm backing up my harddrive, haven't had any problems so far, the backup software that came with it won't back up a full partition just wanted to back up folders not individual files, wound up using the backup software I already had installed on my computer. Haven't had overheating problems, got my fingers crossed. However it will not recover from sleep. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to restart. I returned the drive and the replacement does the same thing.
