Sure, I can get into my size 36" inch pants, but if I want to breathe, the 38" is the better fit. Same with this case. I gave it away to a friend that is using it with a smaller Samsung flip phone. Do not order this case if you plan to use it with the iPhone. Imagine my delight in getting a MUCH better phone AND and excellent case! It's easy to put on -- even with arthritis in my fingers -- and has never fallen off. It's very easy to open with one hand and I can pull out the phone very quickly and easily. Even when the case accidently spins upside down (which has happened twice) the phone stays in the case.
