Comment: Performs as advertised... although sometimes it's easier if you start your posthole with a shovel (especially through sod) then move to the digger, using the spear chucker method... this baby is heavy so the weight works best that way... lifting it out of the hole can be a little bit more exercise, but it seems to be pretty effective at holding the dirt. I was concerned about getting too tired out but since I only had a couple of holes to dig I don't really know about that. A bigger person wouldn't worry about it. It's much easier to make a deeper more narrow hole than a regular digger can. Pretty cool altogether! More Reviews
